- Description
- Bracebridge Public Library, a Carnegie-funded library built in 1908, had only the front entrance for many years. This door on the side was added in 1967 when a second exit was required in case of fire. This side of the building was again changed in 1985 with the expansion of the library and creation of a level side entrance. The front entrance was no longer used, except as an emergency exit.
