- Colour photographs taken during Bicentennial Gala Dinner, the first event in Once Upon 200 Years-the year of anniversary events to celebrate the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library, the first circulating public library in Upper Canada. This celebration took place at the Court House on Saturday, January 29, 2000 and was attended by Government representatives and invited guests.
After dinner, local performer Maja Bannerman, along with musician Jonathan Earp and actor Jamie Mainprize, entertained the crowd with a play re-enacting the founding of the library.
