1889 photo reprinted in the Record News and clipped out for inclusion in a 1936 scrapbook by Janet Lemex, the collection of L. Ringer.

Caption reads: "Inter-council meeting in 1889." "In 1889 Town Council of Perth and Smiths Falls met at a social gathering held at the residence of T.A. Code in Perth. While it is impossible to secure the names of all those in this old picture some of the members are: Messrs. Keith, Elliot, Little, Moorehouse, Moore, Wright, Butler, Punk, Code, Lewis, More, Meighen, Campbell, Matheson, Rogers, McLenaghan, Walker and McGillivray."
