- Illustrated on p.371 in Montague: A Social History of an Irish Ontario Township 1783-1980 by Glenn Lockwood. Kingston: Mastercraft Printing and Graphics, 1980. The caption reads: "This scene may have been taken in Atironto, Carssville, or Matheson in about 1905, or it may have been in Smiths Falls since the town did commission the use of the steam engine and stone crusher after its 1904 purchase by Montague council. The three grades of crushed stone provided can be clearly seen."
