When all had had satisfaction at the beautifully decorated tables in the basement of the Church they gsthered in the Auditorium to hear the splend- id programme rendered by the Durham Pres. Choxrand a. few good speakers. On manday Hampdon gave the first. fowl supper ever held here, and it. turned out the most enjoyable social gathering in recent years. Thanks to the work of the young people of the congregation who were ably assisted by the Hampden old b6) 5 and girls. The Anniversary and fowl supper held here on Dec. 17th. and 18th. was a grand success. Rev. Mr. McLean our present. Pastor conducted the services on Sunday and preached two very nble sermons. The Church was well filled both morning and evening. Mr. Allan Gilmour principal of Tara High-School is visiting under the par- ential roof.
