H O’Neill was re-elected President and Mr. Arch’d McCuaig was re-elected to the Vice-Presi- dent’s chair. Messrs. T H. Wil- son and Duncan McLean retain their old positions as auditors. Mr. Herbert Brigham was elected a director of the Company, and Mr. Dougald McKinnon of Sullivayn was made a member of the Exe- cutive. The above named company held its Annual Meeting in Hanover, on the 24th of February. A large number of policy holders were present, and all seemed pleased with the report presented. The Company wrote a larger number of policies in 1915 than in any previous year, and the year's losses aggregated a little over $8,000, which is an unusually large sum. These losses have all been paid and the Company still has in hand a very respectable cash surplus. A very gratifying feature is that for several years the Com- pany has not had a lawsuit with any person, and has not put out one dollar in law costs. Every loss has been fairly investigated and fairly settled. In consequence the Company is in high favor with the insuring public and its busin- es_s_ is con_stantly _ growing.
