The 48th anniversary of the Pres- byterian Sunday school passed very successfully on Christmas night when the church was crowded with a highly pleased audience at the enâ€" tertainment given. After a sumptu- ous tea the pastor, Rev. J. Harrower, took charge and conducted the pro- gram, well rendered throughout. The ; choruses were splendidly rendered and the recitations and other num- bers by the scholars were well given. As usual, the little ones'were very interesting, a Gaelic song by two of them being very taking. A play enâ€" titled. "Riches Have Wings,” given by six adults. was well acted and ,much enjoyed. Rev.
