A. Stone who died at the home of - her daughter, Mrs. John Anderson, ’ at Manor, Sask, in her 80th year. Mrs. Stone has been a great sutl'er- er with rheaumatism for twenty- one years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Williams who, in l841, came from Devonshire, Eng- : land. to Toronto where she was born. 1 At five years of age, she came with . her parents to a bush farm near Owen Sound where she grew to wo- 4 manhood. In 187l she was married a to Richard Stone, and they lived 1 near Flesherton until he died in 1883. In 1903 she sold the farm and I moved to Manor where three of her 1 children resided. Seven children e 'survive her. They are: Mrs. John 8 Anderson and Mr. William Stone 9 Manor, Sask.; Benjamin, in British 1 Columbia; Mrs. Fee, in Ontario; Mrs. G Banks. in Alberta; Rev. R. H. and 11? She was born in July, 1820, in Midlothian, Scotland. In 1860 she came to Canada and settled in § .1 Egremont. She married James Cal- vert of town who still survwes.
