The next year, he came. to the township of hgremont and settled on a farm just east. of Holstein where be cleared the land and made for himself a comfortable home. In 1867. he married the wo- man of his choice in the person of Miss Helen' Sim. They together shared in the foils and hardships Of pioneer life, and 22 years ago. she departed this life. Mr. Green- ly was a man of superior qualities, neighborly. kindhearted, industriâ€" ous and reSpected by all. He never ceased to perform his daily duties“ He made his home in his declining‘ years with his daughter. Mrs. ('leorge‘ Calder, who spent much of her time making his declining years happy.
