A drastic change is rumored in the passenger service as well. At the present the local passenger ser- vice calls for two round trips from here to Palmerston each day. This, it Dame. Rumor is correct, will be replaced by a through run from Durham to Hamilton, and as the mileage covered is too much for one crew to handle it is more than likely that two passenger crews will resi e in Durham, making the round trip to the Ambitious City every other day. Just what change is to be made in the freight, service is not yet known. A wholesale change in train crews running out of Durham is rumored to take place on the lat of May, but so far as The Chronicle can ï¬nd out, nothing deï¬nite is yet known.
