Ontario «lovernment was so proud of the young farmers that it lelt they should be seen by the city folks so the boys paraded, headed by the 48th Highlanders Pipe Band, and as they circled the arena they bore. banners indicating the count- ies of their origin. They were also inspected by the Governor- General. Special street cars were provided to take them to differ- ant places of interest. They were also entertained as guests at many different banquets, tendered by the Massey- varris (30., packing; houses and T. Eaton mail order department. These banquets were attended also by Hon. Wm. Finlayson. minister of lands and forests. Hon. John S. Martin. min- ister of agriculture and other rep- resentatives ol' the Provincial Gov- ernment. Mr. Martin advised the boys to stay on the farm and pointed. out the opportunities oilered them. Mrs. t'lampbell passed away Tues- day. November 15. 1927 after a short illness. Deceased was 94 years of age. She leaves to mourn his loss one son. Dan. with whom she resided. and five daughters“ Flora. at home. Lizzie, Bella and Kate. living in Montreal and Mary, Mrs. D. Stewart. The funeral was held on Thursday and was largely attended.
