Toronto, suc-’ cnmhed from heart trouble in his 60th year. Five years ago he had an attack of the fit} which-affected hls heart. After thls he galned and for two years was able to enJoy 11fe. Three years ago he had another attack from \vhleh no never re- covered. 511109 a year ago he has had several attacks \vhlch weak- ened hls vitallty. However, he was able to be. up most of the tlme. He was of an exceethnglv cheerful d15- posltlon. very fond ot‘ company, an ardent, lover of .musw. and always ,Iooked on the. brlght sale of every- thing. He was born at Dromore, the son of James Isaac, and in the year 1894 was married to Janet Paton, only daughter of the late Robert Paton of Flesherton. They farmed suc- cessfully until fourteen years ago.‘ when they moved to Durham where they lived until three years ago. then removing: to Toronto. Mr. Isaac was a Liberal in politics and in religion a Presbyterian and was seldom absent from church when health would permit. He is surviv- ed by his widow and two children. Dr. James Isaac. professor of His- tory in the lTniVersity of Colorado. and Margaret. at home, also six sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. Bunston. Dromore; Mrs. Baird Mrs. Coleridge and Mrs. Ray, To- ronto: Mrs. Mli'lntyre. Port. Arthur. Mrs, (D12) Fettes, Calgary and Will 31' Toronto. The funeral service was held from his late residence. 71 Melrose Avenue and was conducted by his pastor. Rev, H. E. Abraham, assist- ed by Rev. W. Stewart. 3 close friend of the deceased.
