Well, \here is another. A week ago Sunday Mr. Louis 'Woodyard killed a lively garter snake about 18 or 20 inches long in their yard, not more than ï¬ve feet from the house. The snake was on the hard crust of the snow not far from a fence post from which the snow had drifted away.
