Wherever the Doxology to the Lord’s Prayer is used, we would prefer to have it, “For Thine is the Kingdom. and the Power, and the Glory, for ever an ever. Amen.” 2. We think that the word “filled" should be used in the place of the word “fulfilled” in the prayers on pages 457 and 460. The word “filled” has been used in this prayer by the Methodist church for more years than some of us have been ministers. To introduce the word “fulfilled” into the prayer will tend to call off the mind of the wor- shipper and lead him to think that the Minister has made a strange mis- take, thus interrupting the harmony 01’ the worship. We call attention to the use of both names in the Or- dination Service. In the closing pray- er before the act of Ordination the name used is Holy Ghost, and immed- iately after. in the act of Ordination, the name used is Holy Spirit. 3. That the words in brackets on page 476 “(laying his hand, if such be his discretion, upon the head of every- one in order kneeling before him)” be deleted. The amended item will then read, “Then the Minister shall say.” There are three verbal alterations that we wish to suggest to the commit- tee: 2. That the words “and Confirma- tion” be deleted from “The Order of Reception to Full Communion of those who have been Baptized.” The title will then read; “The Order of Re- ception to Full Communion of those who have been baptized.
