Mrs. Dan Campbell, the Vice-president, was in the chair, in the absence of the President, Miss Mae Stewart. The meeting opened with hymn 545, followed by prayer by the Vice-president. Portions of scripture were read by eight members‘ agape}: 'V V- V C vâ€"â€" w, vâ€"w-vv â€"â€"â€" _ on “Foreign Missions” was read by Mrs. A. L. Hincks and a splendid paper read by Mrs. Dan SteWart. The offer- ing was taken and the closing hymn was 505. After which all repeated the Lord’s prayer in unison. The W. H. meeting then took place with the Pres- ident, Mrs. John Nichol in the chair. The meeting opened with hymn 521 followed by prayer by the President. The creed was repeated in unison. It was decided that we invite the Swin- ton Park missionary society over for the September meeting and that they provide part of the program. The meet- ing closed with a hymn after which a dainty lunch was served. Miss Olive McMeekin spent the week- end with Miss Jessie Nichol. Mr. and Mrs. A. L.
