Wildcats Venn-Don A farmer near Alma in Wellington County claims he had five sheep killed recently by Wildcats. How unfortunate they were not killed by mutton hounds and then the farmer would have been recompensed from the sheep fund. It is fortunate that the mutton hounds of North Elderslie, which destroyed sheep to the value of nearly $300 in a few nights have not been crossed with wolves or wildcats or they would make a clean-up on all the sheep of tho township.â€"Chesley Enterprise.
