Mrs. John Peglo, Elderslie township. spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kaufmann. Mrs. N. Purcell, of Vancouver, 3.0., is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Wm. Honess at present. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anderson and family moved to their new home near Chesley on Friday. We regret very much losing this family from the com- munity and wish them every success in their new home. Last Friday evening the C.Y.P.8. had a very pleasant visit from the Muloek B.Y.P.U. The weather was ideal and the church was comfortably filled, a was in charge of the B.YP.U. and was of a very high type throughout. The meeting opened by singing “What a Friend We Have in Jesus," after which Mr. Gordon Kramer, president of the Mr. and Mrs. Will Timmins visited Mrs. Wm. Kenney on Monday, who is very ill at the home of her son, Will. The Zion Women’s Institute held a successful concert in the church last Friday evening. Mr. W. A. Robinson acted as chairman over a varied pro- gram of choruses, six recitations, a mock marriage and .a play entitled, “Aunt Susan Jones.” There was a good attendance and plenty of laughter as the mock marriage was quite ridicu- lous.
