Myrtle Herd gave a paper, which was the great speech made by Dr. Toyo- hika Hagawa, leader of the Missionary movement in Japan, which he made at the Missionary Congress held in To- ronto last October. This was very in- teresting and instructive, giving quite a detailed account of the conditions in the Orient, the deveIOpments in mis- sionary work, and the customs and habits of the peOple. This paper was preceded by a graï¬c introduction of Dr. Hagawa by Mr. McCall, who com- mented on the characteristics and good work of this honorable man whose great endeavor is winning souls to Christ.
