Barrieâ€"Extradition proceeds against Martin Insull, former Chicago Utilities Magnate, were adjourned until Feb- ruary 7. He planned to return to Orillia, where he has been living in a boarding housel since last June. Insull is wanted by the Chicago authorities on charges of em- bezzlement in connection with the In- sull industries. Barrie--W. S. Pratt and Company, Ltd., Toronto real estate Operator, and Joseph A. Vaillancourt, Barrie man- ager, were committed for trial when they appeared in police court here be- fore Magistrate Jefls for preliminary hearing on charge of fraud, arising out of activities in this district during the past year.
