_ A pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kingjhkville, when their daughter, Harriet May, became the bride of Ir. Ernest Hopper of Toronto, son of the late Mr. William Hopper, and Hrs. Hopper, of the 8th Concession, Artemesia. Rev. W". T. Cranston, B. A., on‘iciated. The interior of the house was eflectively decorated with autumn leaves and yellow chrys- anthemums. The bride, who enter- ed the room on the arm of her fath- er. looked charming in a dress of ivory canton crepe with tulle veil caught with a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses and lily of the valley. The bridesmaid, Miss Violet King, sister of the bride, was gowned in Silwr grey taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Miss Jean King, little niece of the bride, was dressed in robin‘s egg blue crepe de chene and carried a basket of pink rows as flower-girl. The groom was assisted by his nephew, Mr. Edgar Linton of Flesherton. Gallagher of Knox‘College. who conducted anniversary at Eu- genia in the morning. preached an able sermon here in the afternm‘m. Rev. Mr. Vose was the preacher at the Baptist church. After renovation reopening: sorvicn will be held in tho I’rosbytm'inn church at tho usual hour noxt Sun- day when a preacher from Toronto is expected. A fovvl suppor will ho given on Tuesday evening. Successful anniversary services were held at Mount Zion Methodist church on Sunday. The pastor, the Rev. H. E. Dufl‘ield, preached morn- ing and evening and Rev. Mr. \Vake- field in the afternoon.
