It has been officially announced that the prospective drill of the 34th Battalion will take place at Whitby, instead of Niagara as intended. Major Farewell has private letters from Ottawa to that effect. The date has not been decided upon yet, but in the meantime we suppose it will stand for 18th of June, unless changed to September as appears to be the general wish of the officers and men. It will be quite a novelty to see the red coats in camp at home.
