Major Hodgson, of the Gallant 34th, was recently presented with a valuable watch by the Brooklin Co., which he, prior to his promotion commanded. The inscription reads: “Presented to Major Thomas Hodgson by the members of No. 6 Company, 34th Battalion, in recognition of his services and worthwhile Captain, and to mark their sense of appreciation of his promotion as Major.”
