Let’s Go to the Fair! : A History of the Brooklin Spring Fair
Present Day: Brooklin Spring Fair

Modern-day Brooklin Spring Fair is a member of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS). This provincial organization represents over 200 agricultural societies from across the province and is governed by the Agricultural and Horticultural Organizations Act. Their mandate is to preserve and celebrate the rural way of life in Ontario. OAAS has 15 districts across Ontario; Brooklin Spring Fair is one of 18 fairs within District 4 of the OAAS.

Today, the Brooklin Spring Fair includes mid-way rides, food, games, truck and tractor pull, a parade, a horse show, a demolition derby, and live concerts by country music stars. The fair draws thousands of people over the four-day event. The theme for the 2020 Fair is “Country Nights & Carnival Lights”.

The Brooklin Spring Fair is one of the longest-running agricultural fairs in Ontario. Stay in touch with the Brooklin Spring Fair by visiting their website and following them on social media. We’ll meet you at the Fair next year!
