Notes
Joshua Crawforth (1819-1898) married Ann Atkinson (1823-1888) at Yorkshire, England in 1844. The came to Canada in 1845 and settled at base line in Whitby.

Joshua and Ann had eleven children: Sarah (1845-1913), Matthew (1847-1913), Samuel (1849-1851), Hannah (1851-1888), Martha (1853-1923), Mary (1855-1926), Mark (1857-1934), Susan (1859-1943), William (1861-1870), James (1864-1865), John Wesley (1874).

Mark Crawforth married Lydia Ann Cribb of Port Whitby in 1878 at Whitby. They had ten children: Wilfrid Maitland Crawforth (1879-1933), Olive Atkinson Crawforth (1881-1918), Albert Joshua Crawforth (1882-1948), Bertha Arabella Crawforth (1884-1959), Alma Whitney Crawforth (1887-1969), Arthur Wellington Crawforth (1889-1961), Mark Salisbury Crawforth (1891-1965), Beatrice Martha Crawforth (1893-1977), Sarah Crawforth (1895-1973), Matthew Crawforth (1898-1951)
