Barns in Cramahe Township, Ontario
Cramahe Barn Fires
Fires often took their toll on these large wooden structures. There was little that farm owners or local volunteer firemen could do to stop the flames from completely destroying their barns. It was difficult to recover from such a loss.
The Colborne Express often reported on the loss of local barns and homes due to fire and the circumstances, if known.
