Many postcards of Castleton included vistas of its open green spaces and waterways. Other postcards focussed upon the four corners at Spring Street and Percy Street where the Oriental Hotel and Municipal Town Hall once ran and the Castleton General Store still operates. Purdy Mills was another favourite subject.
