Churches of Cramahe: An Overview
Prospect Community Church and Trinity Anglican Church
Prospect Missionary Church was founded in 1936 when its first meeting was held at the local Opera House. As its congregation grew, a new space was acquired several blocks east on King Street. Originally built as a Wesleyan Church in 1869 (and then converted into a private residence), the building underwent renovations to once again accommodate worship services. Prospect Missionary Church was dedicated in 1944.
Prospect Missionary Church is now known as Prospect Community Church. It is still housed in the same building, at 75 King Street East.
