There are a set of photographs in the collections of Library and Archives Canada showing the interior and exterior of the Smiths Falls Post Office in 1914. The interior photos are identified as the work of J. J. Kerfoot. The cataloguing information for the exterior photos which featured the construction of an addition to the library do not directly identify Kerfoot as the photographer, but are highly likely to be his work given the subject matter and that the photographs come from the same accession as the interior photos.
