DetailsGrand Trunk Railway first stopped in Colborne in 1856 and the railway company built their station at Division Street just south of Earl Street. Canadian Northern Railroad built its station in 1911 at King Street West. Canadian National (CN) took over both stations in 1923. The Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) started providing rail service in Colborne around 1911. CPR's station was originally found at the merging of Ontario Street and Lakeport Road.
