Colborne and Cramahe carefully maintains and preserves Victoria Square for its citizens and visitors. Improvements and restorations are the focus of ongoing community projects. The recent construction of the gazebo provides a focus point for small and large community gatherings and celebrations. The bell sounded the alarm in the event of a fire and also marked time for the community. There are two historical plaques - the Ontario Heritage Act commemorates Victoria Square as a heritage site and the founding of Colborne is outlined on a Ontario Historical Foundation plaque. The World War I Cenotaph Memorial lists the names of the soldiers who served during the war (1914-1918).
