Margaret and Robert Rasberry's family
Robert Rasberry married MArgaret Mitchell on MArch 28, 1900 at her family farm on the 11th Concession in Nassagaweya. They farmed south of Kilbride on Cedar Springs Road for over 20 years. Margaret stooked the wheat and alongside the men helped out with farm chores. In later years, Robert often reminisced about driving produce from his farm to the Hamilton market at 3:30 in the morning. Robert also acted as a tax collector in Nelson Township for many years .

Robert and Margaret Rasberry had six children, all of whom were born at Kilbride except for Dorothy who was born on the Cedar Springs Road farm.

Russell (1901-1979) married Vera Nicholson. They farmed on the Cedar Springs Road farm.

Vera died at about two years of age.

Archie (1907-1994) married Margaret Mills and worked at Stelco in Hamilton for 32 years.

Morley (? - 1998) married Phyliss Simons and worked at P.L. Robertson in Milton.

Elva married Melvin Ezeard. Elva was a nurse with her mother at the Rasberry Nursing Home and was a private nurse for a period of time.

Dorothy married Victor Nettie who worked for the Globe and Mail in Toronto for 43 years.
